Getting Settled In The Classroom

Now that you have introduced yourselves, it is time to get down to the business of learning. It is always good to have an activity ready to go for a new student, particularly one who has a language barrier. Look in the Activities section of this book for some reproducible beginner’s activities for the new student to do while you keep the rest of the class busy. If there is another Spanish-speaking student, pair them together. This will help the new student feel more comfortable and help you keep things running smoothly.
